It’s that time of year again when the whole team pack up and take themselves off to the shows in Europe and the US. This year, EAS has been re-branded to become the IAAPA Expo Europe and it’s being held in Paris at the Porte de Versailles on the outskirts of the city. It’s around 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower, stretches across six pavilions and covers over 200,000 m².
Like Amsterdam last year, Paris is always a popular destination and the visitor numbers are again expected to be very strong, with over 15,000 attendees from 100 plus countries and more than 600 exhibitors. It was last held in Paris in 2013 and has continued to go from strength to strength, rivalling the main IAAPA Show in Florida. According to IAAPA figures, it is now officially the largest international conference and largest trade show in the entertainment and amusement industry for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Unveiling our new ride
This year, on the stand, we will be unveiling our brand new ride that has been delivered and is in operation in a world-class park, on the other side of the world.
We’ve kept very tight-lipped about it throughout the build, installation and commissioning process, but are now excited to share it with you on our stand.
The official unveiling will take place on Tuesday 17th September at 16.00 on our Stand 3121, which should give you plenty of time to visit us and then get away for the official opening reception if you are attending that. We’ll be serving ice-cold beers and a selection of red and white Bordeaux’s on the stand, along with some nibbles. Please do let us know if you can make it.
If you can’t make the official unveiling but would like your own sneak preview, then we’d be delighted to give you a tour, whenever suits you.
Meet the Garmendale team
David, Kelvin, Katie and Jesse will be in Paris from Saturday 14th if you’d like to meet up with them before the show. They are there right through until Friday 20th after the close of the show. If you’d like to book a specific appointment, please drop us an email or telephone the office on 0115 932 7082.
