The EAS Show is underway and the halls are busy with interested trade visitors and just a few consumers wanting to find out what’s big and upcoming in the future of the theme park industry.
Speaking to Kelvin Ensor, Garmendale’s General Manager he said
“The show feels much busier than last year already. Normally the first day is a quiet one and then picks up until a peak around Thursday afternoon. This year it’s been pretty hectic from the moment the doors opened.”
We have come to the show with three new products that have never been shown in public before.
The first is the all-new eight seater dark ride system. Without doubt, our most technologically advanced tracked dark ride system to date. It’s completely programmable to be able to vary the rotation and the traverse positioning as well as being equipped with a laser scanner as a fall back to ensure passenger safety.
We also have a working set of our brand new (and almost completely silent) electrically controlled shotgun gates. They are already in operation in one of the bigger world parks and have some awesome safety and operational features built-in.
There’s also one of the new electric cars built for Sundown Adventureland. Whilst we can’t let you drive it around the show, you can certainly try and fit yourself in it to see if you squeeze in under the more normal 1.4m height user limit. You may find the dark ride a more comfortable fit!
Here are a few more pictures from around the stand showing the Garmendale film, which details our entire offering and our full range of leaflets with all of the technical details you will need to understand our offering.
So if you’re at the show, we’d love to see you on our stand 1039 inside Hall One.
