The pneumatic control system has been designed so that at no time is high pressure used on the gate activating cylinder, this is one of the main safety aspects of the design.

Designed to be almost completely maintenance free, the entire range, once installed will offer years of trouble free operation.

All our gates are manufactured to EN 1090 EX2 standards so you can be assured that every component is traceable and of the highest quality, with the added assurance that the workmanship is world class and built to last a lifetime.

Electric gating systems

Our Guest Control Gating Systems are world renowned for their unrivalled build quality, longevity and compliance with international standards. Garmendale’s all electric Guest Control Safety Gates increase throughput, with safety and reliability.

Compliance to British Standard BS-7036 sections 1, 3 & 4 code of practice for safety powered doors for pedestrian use and EN 13814 ride manufacturing standards along with ASTM standards where applicable, and performance levels to PLe where required, ensures the RG11 gating systems from Garmendale are amongst the safest available.

    LegoLand Japan Aerial Roundabout

    This aerial roundabout was designed and built in-house by the Garmendale Engineering team and now resides in LegoLand Japan. The project was completed in just under nine months and is complete with an interactive shooting game.

    Garmendale were approached by a world leading animatronics manufacturer to design an innovative tracked solution to linearly and radially traverse a dynamic motion attraction, a 4m tall T-Rex which weighed 2 tonnes for live audiences around the world!

    Garmendale designed, manufactured, and installed a fleet of RG11 Gating Systems for 5 of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi's finest rides. Each gating system was electric powered and custom built to match the ride's theming.

    Dragon Falls Refurbishment

    To ensure the long-term safety and reliability of Dragon Falls, Chessington brought in Garmendale to carry out a thorough refurbishment of the trough structure - the heart of the flume. Our inspections revealed decay in critical areas, particularly the spine brackets that connect the steel support work to the main trough spine.

    Megaphobia Coaster Testing & Refurbishment

    The British standard 13814 for UK based coasters requires every carriage to be non-destructively tested every two years. Wooden coaster Megaphobia required a complete strip-down to ensure every bush and bearing is within the standards.
